July and August had been extremely busy. And September is looking fabulous, too. I have 3 shoots that I already (re)scheduled for September and add to the fact that I will be so busy doing portraits of my own family. I am much more excited for that.
Anyway, to start September right, here’s another photo from my shoot with Aayush. He’s currently having his month-long vacation in India. I hope you are enjoying your stay there.
I will be gone for almost two weeks with limited access to a calibrated-computer so I won’t be posting for awhile.

In a few days, my dear sister Bel will be getting married! I am very excited for so many reasons — families, friends, our family is getting bigger and more. In short, just plain excited — I am running out of words. PERIOD!
Anyway, here are some more of the photos from the shower:

I just want to do a quick post to thank the ladies who co-hosted (Stef, Kate, Dobbie, Mishiel and Cathy) Bel’s bridal shower as well as all the beautiful friends and families who were there to celebrate her last days of singlehood. I appreciate that we were able to make it happen.

Bel said she wanted more and since her birthday and wedding are both coming up, I really couldn’t say no.
So to grant her wishes, here are more photos because I know she loves looking at them. There were reasons why I didn’t select them at first like how that sculpture of the old lady freaked me out on the 2nd photo and so on but I am used to it by now. So enjoy!

It was a short shoot as the mercury started rising rapidly from a comfortable 70’s to an unfriendly mid-80’s… well, at least unforgiving for our cute model. Here’s my favorite capture of a moment between Ayesha and her wonderful baby, Roxie!

No, I didn’t work on any photographs at all, instead, we invited my in-laws over to help clear our backyard. It feels so wonderful to finally remove all the brush pile… We are so thankful for their help. If you have been following me here at my blog and at Twitter, you probably know where I am now and why I’m missing in action. To give you an update, JZ and I finally moved into our 4111 house last 4th of July weekend! Woohoo!
We currently do not have internet access yet hence I couldn’t reply to emails and post blogs except for occasional twittering using my iPhone.
Anyway, here’s a sneak peek of our kitchen — pretty much a blank canvas for me.
The backsplash still needs to be designed (which I am currently doing) and installed. Will post more photos later after we unpack our things… We have exciting and maybe trying times ahead.
