I am Joyce D.Z., a full-blooded Filipino who moved to the United States almost seven years ago to pursue more opportunities in the Computer Engineering field which is a pretty technical career.
However, to unleash my inner creative side, I kept myself busy with dancing, singing, sketching/painting/drawing and yes, photography. My full interest with the latest didn’t happen until I met my husband, JZ. I bought my own first DSLR right before he and I did our first backpacking trip to the wilderness of Wyoming last September 2006. His passion for exploration and mine for just being active (at that time) took us to lot of beautiful places within the US — from the numerous lakes of the Boundary waters in MN, to the peaks and valleys of Colorado and Wyoming, to the beaches of Florida, the deserts of Arizona, the bustling city of Chicago and so much more. I fell in love not only with the man who walked with me in all these adventures but also with the simple beauty of nature and the humbling experiences it brought me. We got married two years after that Wyoming adventure.
I firmly believe in love and I am grounded by the beauty of nature that surrounds us. My ultimate goal is to capture that love beaming from couples (engagements and weddings), individuals, parents, child/children, babies, animals and blend them with the splendor of nature and/or even with architectures created my mankind.
If you are interested to have this journey with me by allowing me to freeze the frame of these moments in your life, please drop me an email at info@joycedzphotography.com.
I will be so honored to shoot for you and will strive to always capture the genuine you. Come with me for a ride!
Thank you so much!
